» Relations: All known family perished during the Sorceress' War 18 years previous to the start of the game. Not much else is mentioned besides that she was taken in by Matron, also known as Edea Kramer, into an orphanage along with a group of other children.
» Ambition: Her motives aren't exactly spoken, though she does mention that she wanted to be noticed by her student, Squall, as well as acknowledged as a good professor in the Garden. Because of her kind personality, the administration at Balamb Garden felt she was inadequate to be an instructor figure and was better suited to be a SeeD.
» Personality: Full of insecurities about herself and her appearance to others, Quistis is easy to fall under the effects of depression. She has a strong sense of discipline and was brought up to follow orders without question. Though she has a cool exterior and shows no real weakness during battle or out in the field, she is facing an inner turmoil with herself and her conflicting feelings towards Squall and her duties. She’s usually the most reasonable character that thinks things through and mediates fights before they begin and acts the most adult like out of the whole cast.
